AMA with IMO and OverDose Gems

Knut : Hello how are you ! Thank you for your invitation! I am very well and very happy thank you!

Od : We are happy to have you. So before we even talk about the project, can you tell us about yourself?

Knut : So my name is Knut, I’m currently 20 years old and since 2017 I’m into crypto which is a passion for me, I dedicate all my time and energy to it. I am every day looking for gems and trading opportunities. I also have a youtube channel (CryptoMillion 12'950 subscribers) that talks only about crypto trading.

Od : That’s nice! Can you share the youtube channel as well?

Od : So can you tell us about the team behind IMO?

Knut : The team consists of Daniel (@daniel_frtn), the project’s real estate agent who works in this field, and Adrien, the person in charge of the project’s graphics. So yes, a small team to start with, but as IMO develops I think we’ll need new talent!

Od : Great! So you guys are KYCed? Are you public?

Knut : For KYC, we are all public on the WP and on LinkedIn. You can add us without any problem.

Od : So I’m happy to see the team is public and that the team members have linkedin too. Do you have already a company for IMO?

Knut : Excellent question! The feasibility of the project has already been studied and we are in the process of setting up and registering in Switzerland. We are currently studying the solutions available to us in order to optimise the return on the assets in question.

Cryptik : One last question about you and the team before we dive into IMO. Do you have any previous projects in crypto?

Knut : Yes, it was the DeCash project. The latter was replaced by IMO on 13 March 2021. The reason for this is that the fundamental of DeCash has unfortunately not been able to develop properly.

What could be an end in itself is in fact a sign of renewal for something better and much more viable in the long term. We have therefore taken the decision to stop DeCash to launch the ambitious project that is IMO. Of course, people with DeCash on March 13, 2021 will be airdropped from IMO after the launch and before March 31.

In addition, Adrien and I have also worked for SWISS. We decided together with the founder Thiago that it would be better to focus on our own projects, him on SWISS and us on IMO.

The DESH project that became IMO was also supported by a large French community, especially from my YouTube channel! All these people will be switched to IMO and they are very excited about the future of IMO!

Cryptik : Interesting, can you share DeCash contract here? And why did it fail?

Knut : If I had to summarise, I would say that the IMO project aims to enable individuals to benefit from monthly passive income, regardless of the amount invested.

Cryptik : How exactly does it provide this monthly passive income?

Knut : The capital gains from the rental income will be used to purchase a token (crypto-currency) with the same name as the company: IMO, at market price.

The purchased tokens will then be distributed automatically to all IMO owners. This distribution will be done using a smart contract and will reward investors in proportion to the amount of IMO held by each of them.

Cryptik : So basically you are a real estate company that rents apartments, and are using the profit to drive IMO token’s price up?

Cryptik : Interesting. Can you explain a bit more how the project works and how holders will receive passive income?

Knut : In the first phase of the project, IMO, a Swiss-based company, will buy properties in order to offer them for rent.

Cryptik: Where do the funds to buy real estate come from?

Knut : When the project is mature and there is sufficient liquidity, the first assets will be financed with the withdrawal of a small part of the liquidity and also of private investors.

For the remainder of the project, the financing is to be determined according to the scale of IMO (partnerships, etc). The option chosen for the financing of the following assets will most likely be self-financing through the first assets.

Od : That reminds me some stock market ideas, never seen that in crypto so the potential is definitely there in my opinion. How much is “enough liquidity?” Because real estate cost a lot.

Knut : between 2 and 2.5 million

Od : And when do you think you will reach this kind of funds? That’s a lot of money.

Knut : Maybe more let’s see…

Cryptik : How much of it is the presale and how much is private investors?

Knut : Yes, real estate is expensive, but you only need to provide the equity, which is a certain percentage of the price of the property, not the price of the entire property. Very tough question but as soon as possible! We have no private investors, only a pre-sale!

Cryptik : You mentioned the private investors 😋

Knut : Sorry, I thought we were talking about initial liquidity.

Cryptik : To be more specific — I was asking about the funds to buy the first assets with. Will it be raised from both presale and private investors?

Knut : The amount is not yet decided, but it will be internal negotiations.

Knut : the amount is fixed for the presale, it will start below the lisitng price but if many people want it the price will increase.

Cryptik : Hmm I’ve got some more questions regarding the presale but let’s get back to it in a few minutes. So the real estate field is one of the most regulated ones (and so is crypto). Do you feel like your team is up for the task? You also need a strong legal team. Along with the devs, marketers, real estate agents

Knut : The person in charge of real estate investments is Daniel. He works in a real estate agency and manages the assets of Swiss private banks and investment funds on a daily basis.

As the real estate business is very complex, we know that we will have to work with other professionals in the industry. This is why Daniel is the ideal person to work with as he has many contacts in the field.

Cryptik : Sounds good! I just hope you raise enough funds to keep all the operation running.

Cryptik : How much of the company’s profit is going to be invested back in the token?

Knut : This amount is not yet defined because each property is different and so are the operating costs. Therefore, the profits paid out will be proportional to the return obtained on each property. Cryptik : And how often? Will it have a fixed schedule?

Knut : Once the first assets have been acquired, the monthly income will be distributed to the holders on a monthly and periodic basis!

Cryptik : Do you plan to fight bots and front runners? If what you’re doing is performing one giant buy each month. It will be done in small parts to avoid them. But I hate these bots!!!

Od : How will you benefit long term holders? What’s the incentive to hold IMO for a long time?

Knut : The first incentive is that investors will be able to benefit from passive income over the long term. They will be able to ensure that the IMO token will have a growing value as funds from real estate are fed back into it on a monthly basis.

We also have some innovative ideas, including one that will give the IMO token a new purpose, again in the real estate sector. We can’t tell you more about it at the moment because it is still being studied and we want to keep it confidential for the time being. Of course we will keep the community informed of the developments!

Od : Great. Will IMO holders have a say in the company’s decisions and/ or operations? (e.g some sort of DAO)

Knut : Of course, the community’s opinion is important! Their ideas and recommendations will be listened to throughout the project. This is one of the reasons why we are organising a pre-sale. Yes, why not for the DAO we need to think about!

Od : What’s the hard cap? Min/Max allocation?

Knut : There is no hard cap as we are doing this for a short period of time. A maximum amount per transaction has been defined. It is 10 BNB per address and there is no minimum.

Od : You have different approach to pre-sale

Knut : We want it to be accessible to everyone. Yes !

Od : Can you explain? you said the price will change based on interest

Knut : There will be a fixed amount of IMO available for pre-sale. The more funds raised in the pre-sale, the more funds will be in the initial liquidity and therefore the higher the launch price of the token on PancakeSwap.

Knut : Yes the price is the same but quantity is proportional to what they have invested. And therefore the price of the listing is dependent on the funds raised during the pre-sale!

Od : But listing price changes based on raised liquidity

Od : How much will go to liquidity? All from pre-sale funds or you use own funds too?

Knut : All funds from the pre-sale will go into the initial liquidity plus the liquidity from the DeCash project. (50k)

Od : So you are going to put 100% of the liquidity? + own funds?

Od : So I think after we talked about the project and the pre-sale it’s the time for the big question. What’s the plans after listing? How are you planing to make it big in the near future?

Knut : The future prospects for the IMO project are numerous beyond the first phase of the project, which is the purchase of properties that are then offered for rent. Some of them are already presented at the end of the whitepaper, but we can mention in particular the new usefulness of the IMO token, which I already mentioned earlier.

Od : Any marketing plans before or after launch?

Knut : In addition, there is a desire to expand abroad and to develop architectural projects for the construction of buildings.

Knut : Maybe we can put NFTs in the project too but it’s just an idea for the moment…

Loop Hole : I still didn’t understand how you get money for the very first asset. You don’t know how much Hard Cap you need? Do you think you can be real estate and crypto form ceo at the age of 20?
